STORIES THAT LED TO THIS WEDDING
Let’s explore the spaces, people, and stories that make this wedding so meaningful. From centuries-old architecture to modern love, this is a celebration of history, culture, and connection.

Ei Ciaustre do Ser Juana
Our reception will take place at Universidad del Claustro de Sor Juana, a former 17th-century convent turned university and cultural center. Nestled in the heart of Mexico City’s Historic Center, this peaceful space blends stunning colonial architecture with academic and artistic life.
We chose this venue not just for its beauty, but because it feels like a tribute to creativity, intimacy, and resilience—everything we want this day to hold.

Whe was Ser Juana!
Sor Juana Inés de la Cruz (1648–1695) was a writer, poet, philosopher, and nun—widely considered one of the most brilliant minds in the Americas. Known as the “Tenth Muse,” she challenged gender norms and fought for women’s education in colonial Mexico. Her wit, wisdom, and courage still inspire people around the world.
Fun Fact: Sor Juana taught herself Latin at age 7, wrote in Spanish and Nahuatl, and her works are still studied in universities globally. Her face even appears on the 100-peso bill!

Look for the bench with a statue of Sor Juana and a bronze cat—it’s a charming spot for a photo (and a favorite among visitors!).

This day is about love—ours, yes—but also yours. Your presence is what makes this moment unforgettable. Whether you’ve known us for a lifetime or a few years, you’re part of our story, and we’re so grateful to share this chapter with you.
We hope you’ll take a moment to sit on that bench with Sor Juana, or look up at the ceilings of the Claustro, or simply breathe in the quiet just before the music starts. There’s magic in the details.
